Eames Consulting are partnered with a Global London-based insurance organisation who are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to join its Risk Management function. The role focuses on strengthening the company’s risk and control framework across the business. The successful candidate will help oversee operational and financial controls, support risk management activities, and work closely with teams across the organisation to improve governance, compliance, and assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding of business areas into the central controls framework, including:
- Process mapping
- Control identification
- Control testing
- Support quarterly control testing and review activities.
- Identify control weaknesses and monitor remediation actions through to completion.
- Maintain and enhance the organisation’s risk and controls register using AuditBoard.
- Support Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
- Work alongside Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams.
- Assist with incident root cause analysis and control improvements.
- Support regulatory and external audit activities, including controls self-assessment exercises.
- Contribute to broader risk management and change initiatives across the business.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience within the Lloyd’s or London insurance market.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of internal controls, enterprise risk management, and governance frameworks.
- Experience designing or testing operational and/or financial controls in a regulated environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
- Commercially aware, inquisitive, and detail-oriented.
