Eames are partnered with an innovative and fast-growing specialty business looking to hire a Program Underwriting Manager into their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Program Underwriter or Portfolio Manager to join a highly entrepreneurial platform and play a key role in the continued growth of their UK specialty portfolio.

Working closely with senior underwriting leadership, you will take ownership of delegated underwriting relationships across MGA partners and coverholders, with responsibility for portfolio performance, underwriting oversight, and helping shape the wider program management function as the business continues to scale.

The role will include:

  • Oversight of underwriting performance across delegated authority partnerships
  • Monitoring portfolio profitability, exposures, and underwriting quality
  • Building strong relationships with MGA and coverholder partners as a key day-to-day contact
  • Working closely with analytics on reporting, MI, and portfolio insights
  • Supporting wider strategy around portfolio optimisation and growth
  • Presenting portfolio performance and recommendations to senior leadership and reinsurers

They are looking for someone with strong program management experience, ideally gained within the London Market or specialty space, who enjoys combining technical oversight with commercial thinking and relationship management. Power BI experience is ideal.
