Eames are partnering with a rapidly scaling, PE‐backed infrastructure business to hire a Head of FP&A. This pivotal role is designed to strengthen forecasting, modelling, and performance visibility across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the FP&A function: Elevate the quality of forecasting, financial modelling, and overall business performance visibility.
- Team development: Develop the current FP&A Analyst whilst recruiting and onboarding new finance team members.
- Model development: Build and refine complex operational and financial models, establishing a scalable framework for the future.
- Reporting excellence: Design KPI dashboards and reporting structures to create a "single source of truth" for the business.
- Project controls: Enhance capex tracking, project accounting, and WIP reporting across large‐scale capital programs.
- Business partnering: Collaborate with commercial, project, and operational teams to identify risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers.
- Analytics: Strengthen insights into supplier spend and project costs within a high‐volume transaction environment.
- Investor support: Produce high‐quality analysis to support debt‐raising activities and investor reporting.
- Process improvement: Implement robust systems, processes, and controls suitable for a fast‐moving environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant: Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Sector experience: Background in capital projects, infrastructure, or other capex‐intensive sectors is essential.
- PE background: Prior exposure to Private Equity environments desirable.
- Technical expertise: Proven leadership in FP&A with advanced skills in financial modelling and forecasting.
- Modelling skills: Demonstrated ability to build and improve complex financial models from scratch.
