The Onboarding Calculations Team sits at the heart of the insurer's BPA growth strategy, enabling the onboarding of complex schemes and delivery of exceptional member and client outcomes. With transaction volumes continuing to rise and significant investment underway across Client Services, the team is expanding – with a strong appetite for actuarial and technical talent. This is not a back-office function. The team is highly visible and plays a critical role in the future scale of the business.
The Role
- This is a varied role combining technical DB pensions work with client engagement and transformation activity.
- Act as a technical SME on complex DB pensions calculations.
- Produce and review quotations, onboarding work and complex claims.
- Support large, high-value BPA transactions.
- Drive process and tool improvements ahead of automation.
- Work closely with trustees, TPAs and internal stakeholders.
- Coach and support junior team members.
About You
- Qualified Actuary or Nearly Qualified with DB pensions experience.
- Strong technical and regulatory knowledge.
- Confident communicator who enjoys stakeholder interaction.
- Interested in variety, transformation and developing others.
