We’re looking for a Japanese-speaking Cyber Security Consultant to support M&A transactions across the global market, with a strong focus on Japan. This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, deals, and investment risk. You’ll work directly with deal teams and security leaders to identify, quantify, and translate cyber risk into commercial impact — fast, clearly, and credibly.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver cyber risk advisory across M&A and investment lifecycles
  • Lead and support cyber due diligence and risk assessments for Japanese transactions
  • Engage directly with clients in Japanese, translating cyber risk into business terms
  • Quantify cyber risk and support mitigation and optimisation strategies
  • Work across multiple live deals in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment

What You Bring

  • Fluent Japanese (essential) and strong English communication
  • Consulting experience in fast-moving, client-facing environments
  • Solid grounding in NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS frameworks
  • Broad cyber experience with depth in at least one area (cloud, IT/tech, OT, IAM, third-party risk, IR/BC)
  • Experience or strong exposure to M&A and Private Equity
  • Ability to explain complex cyber issues to non-technical stakeholders
