Eames Consulting is partnering with an insurance organization to provide resources on multiple Cloud, Infrastructure and DevOps projects for a 6 to 12 month period initially.
Daily Rate: £550 to £650 dependent on experience.
Role:
- Supporting projects implementing new infrastructure into the customer environment (Insurance).
Required:
- Excellent knowledge of cloud-based solutions from an infrastructure perspective (AWS is a must).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Building environments with strong working knowledge of DevOps principles and technologies (IAC) such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience installing or assisting in the installation of applications/services and the automation of this where possible.
- Promoting releases across the environments to production.
- Working with architects to build environments based on HLD designs and other teams to ensure that we adhere to required standards/patterns etc.
Nice to Have:
- SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Snowflake from an administrative perspective.
- Previous experience working with a variety of technology stacks for compute, storage, virtualization, and network products ideally consisting of VMware, Cisco UCS, HP Nimble, Pure, and others.
- Ideally insurance, consulting or professional services industry background.
