We're recruiting for an Existing Business Trading Underwriter (Property & Liability) to join a leading UK insurer's Leeds team. This role is perfect for experienced Property and Liability underwriters who enjoy balancing technical underwriting with strong broker and customer relationships. You'll work independently within delegated authority, managing your own renewals portfolio and delivering tailored underwriting solutions that support profitable growth and long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite Property and Liability existing business within agreed guidelines, managing your own renewals portfolio and making sound technical and commercial decisions autonomously within your authority.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and customers, providing technical support, resolving queries, and delivering tailored underwriting solutions that support long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with colleagues on more complex cases when needed, working across internal teams to deliver the best customer outcomes while supporting Aviva's customer-first strategy.
