Our client, a specialty insurer, is looking to hire in a high-impact leadership role. This role will shape pricing strategy across a diverse casualty and financial lines portfolio. In this position, you will lead pricing activity and model development, working closely with underwriting teams to drive smarter risk selection, portfolio performance, and commercial outcomes.
You will also provide insight on complex deals, monitor portfolio performance, and mentor a small team of actuaries and analysts. This opportunity offers strong visibility with senior stakeholders and the chance to make a real impact on underwriting strategy.
You will play a key role in driving pricing innovation and transformation within a collaborative, commercially focused environment, with genuine scope to influence the direction of the pricing function.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with strong London Market pricing experience, preferably with a background in casualty or financial lines. You will bring strong technical pricing and modelling expertise, experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, R or Python, and the ability to communicate effectively and influence senior stakeholders.
