A leading organisation within the global insurance market is looking for an experienced Enterprise Risk professional to join its Risk Management function.
This role will support the development and operation of the organisation's enterprise-wide risk framework, working closely with senior stakeholders to monitor risk, strengthen controls and provide high-quality reporting to risk committees, regulators and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support the annual risk management and assurance plans and contribute to a strong risk culture.
- Support the development and operation of the enterprise risk framework, including Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSA), key controls, material controls and emerging risk reporting.
- Support the risk appetite framework, including monitoring and reporting risk appetite positions to senior management.
- Contribute to the annual ORSA process and wider risk management activities.
- Develop and maintain risk management systems, reporting tools and dashboards.
- Produce high-quality risk MI, analysis and governance papers for senior management and risk committees.
- Prepare materials for regulators, rating agencies and other external stakeholders.
- Build effective relationships across the organisation and provide constructive challenge to risk business partners and stakeholders.
- Support ad hoc enterprise risk projects and initiatives as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience working with enterprise risk management frameworks, processes and controls.
- Good understanding of risk appetite, RCSA, emerging risk and assurance frameworks.
- Experience within insurance and/or the Lloyd's market.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex risk information into clear, accessible reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence challenging senior stakeholders.
- Experience influencing outcomes and working effectively across multiple business areas.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines and take ownership of projects.
- A collaborative, resilient and pragmatic approach, with the confidence to challenge technical experts where appropriate.
