This opportunity would suit a nearly qualified or newly qualified actuary looking to develop their pricing expertise in a highly commercial environment, working closely with underwriting and business stakeholders to support profitable growth.

The Role

  • Support pricing and portfolio management activities across a range of Accident & Health insurance products.
  • Develop and enhance pricing models, tools and methodologies.
  • Perform profitability analysis, rate reviews and performance monitoring.
  • Work closely with Underwriters to provide pricing insight and recommendations.
  • Support new product development and business initiatives.
  • Contribute to portfolio strategy through analysis of trends, claims experience and market dynamics.
  • Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders across the business.

About You

  • Nearly qualified or newly qualified Actuary (or equivalent progress towards qualification).
  • Experience pricing Accident & Health insurance business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and actuarial modelling techniques.
  • Comfortable communicating technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Commercial mindset with an interest in underwriting performance and portfolio optimisation.
