Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop the Capital team, including multiple direct reports.
- Lead regulatory capital submissions and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic insight on capital optimisation, reinsurance and business planning.
- Support M&A, growth initiatives and major strategic projects from a capital perspective.
- Present capital positions and recommendations to executive committees and boards.
- Develop strong relationships across Risk, Finance, Actuarial and Underwriting functions.
Requirements
- Qualified Actuary with extensive capital experience.
- Significant experience within insurance capital modelling and capital management.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and solvency frameworks.
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and executive decision making.
- Commercially minded with strong strategic thinking capabilities.
