An established insurance business is seeking a Developer – Exposure Analytics to build tools supporting catastrophe exposure analysis, portfolio management and data-driven underwriting decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable web applications and analytics tools for exposure, loss and portfolio reporting.
- Integrate analytics tooling with modern data lake architecture and AI-enabled workflows.
- Build dashboards, reporting and calculation frameworks for underwriting and exposure management teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and analytical outputs.
Skills and Experience:
- 3–5 years’ software development experience, with strong Python skills and knowledge of scalable architecture.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django, plus React, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing and Agile delivery.
- Knowledge of Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, geospatial data or insurance analytics would be advantageous.
- Interest in AI-assisted development tools and emerging analytics technologies.
