Eames are partnered with an innovative and fast-growing specialty business looking to hire a Delegated Underwriting Portfolio Manager into their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced delegated authority or portfolio-focused insurance professional to join a highly entrepreneurial platform and play a key role in the continued growth of their UK specialty portfolio.

Working closely with senior underwriting leadership, you will take ownership of delegated underwriting relationships across MGA partners and coverholders, with responsibility for portfolio performance, underwriting oversight, and helping shape the wider program management function as the business continues to scale.

The role will include:

  • Oversight of underwriting performance across delegated authority partnerships
  • Monitoring portfolio profitability, exposures, and underwriting quality
  • Building strong relationships with MGA and coverholder partners as a key day-to-day contact
  • Working closely with analytics on reporting, MI, and portfolio insights
  • Supporting wider strategy around portfolio optimisation and growth
  • Presenting portfolio performance and recommendations to senior leadership
