Eames is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed energy infrastructure business to appoint a Commercial / Senior Commercial Analyst.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially minded candidate to step into a core role owning key pricing models, driving data-backed bid strategies, and gaining significant exposure to executive leadership, investment modelling, and M&A within a rapidly scaling platform.
Title: Commercial / Senior Commercial Analyst
Location: London, United Kingdom
Work Pattern: Hybrid, 3 Days Office
Salary: Up to £70,000 + 10% Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Model & Governance: Own, govern, and digitise the core Asset Value (AV) bid pricing model, enforcing version control and return thresholds for all BD quotes.
- Data & Process Optimization: Build feedback loops using live operational data and BI tools to continually test assumptions, optimise utilisation, and improve bid win rates.
- Bid Strategy & Deal Support: Support the BD function in embedding a data-driven approach to sales strategy and commercial decision-making.
- Performance Analysis & Portfolio Insight: identify opportunities for improvement within live projects and inform future bidding parameters and commercial decision-making.
- Commercial & M&A Strategy: Partner with executive leadership (CEO/COO) on investment modelling, live M&A activity, portfolio performance analysis, and expanding into new markets.
- Ad-hoc projects: Prepare high-quality ad-hoc commercial analysis and insight as required.
Skills:
- Technical skills: Excellent excel skills, ideally with complex bid, pricing or valuation models.
- Data Experience: Proven track record of owning or working on a key data project
- Industry Focus: Exposure to Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, or Regulated Environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data and financial assumptions into clear strategic narratives for executive stakeholders.

- Up to £70,000 base salary
