An exciting syndicate in growth mode is looking to appoint a Claims Operations Manager to strengthen its claims function and help develop and drive operational excellence across the platform.

This is a broad, high-impact role sitting closely with the Head of Claims, with responsibility for improving the way the claims function operates, strengthening governance and using data to enhance performance.

The role

  • Lead the day-to-day operational framework supporting the claims function.
  • Review and improve claims processes, controls and workflows to create greater efficiency.
  • Develop MI, KPIs and reporting to provide clear visibility of claims performance.
  • Enhance oversight of delegated claims arrangements, including TPAs, coverholders and other third parties.
  • Identify and manage operational risks, ensuring appropriate controls and authority structures are in place.
  • Work closely with Underwriting, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Actuarial and Operations.
  • Support claims-related projects, systems developments and wider business change.

About you

You will have strong Lloyd’s market experience, with a strong background in claims operations, governance or performance.

You should be comfortable working across functions, influencing senior stakeholders and turning data and insight into practical improvements.

Experience delivering operational change or claims projects, alongside a good understanding of Lloyd’s processes and reporting, would be highly advantageous.

This would suit someone who is commercially minded, proactive and highly organised, with the confidence to take ownership and make a tangible impact within a growing claims operation.
