Business Data Architect | London | Hybrid
We're looking for an experienced Business Data Architect to play a key role in shaping enterprise data strategy, business architecture and organisational change. This is an opportunity to influence how data is managed, governed and leveraged across a large, complex organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the development of the business data architecture, ensuring alignment with business and data strategy.
- Partner with business, technology and data teams to design scalable, future-proof data solutions.
- Apply business architecture and modelling techniques to improve processes, capabilities and decision making.
- Identify opportunities to drive innovation, operational efficiency and business transformation through data.
- Support the design of business applications and system integration solutions.
- Act as the bridge between business and technology, translating requirements into practical solutions.
- Promote best practice in data governance, architecture and change management.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to influence strategy and drive successful delivery.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Business Data Architect, Business Architect or Enterprise Data Architect.
- Strong knowledge of business architecture frameworks, modelling techniques and data governance.
- Experience delivering business and technology change programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commercial mindset.
- Experience within Financial Services or Insurance is advantageous.
- TOGAF, ITIL or equivalent architecture certifications are desirable.
