Job Description

My client, a boutique broker, is looking to hire a Broker Actuary to join their team in London. They do 3 days minimum in the London office. This is exclusive to Eames.
The client has branched out into reinsurance and as such, they require an experienced Actuary to join to champion certain areas of reinsurance (most likely cyber and ILS) however there is scope to get involved in all lines. You will also get exposure to direct insurance (about 15% of your time).
They require someone who can think like an Actuary, Broker and Underwriter simultaneously - blending the commercial acumen, stakeholder management and technical actuarial skills. Ideally looking for someone who is FIA 2025-2022 however they are open to speaking to those who are Nearly Qualified.
Candidates must have good communication skills and have worked in reinsurance pricing.
