We are partnering with a dynamic, PE-backed professional services business on the appointment of a Commercial Finance Lead. Backed by a leading mid-market private equity fund, this c.£100m turnover organisation is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. This role offers a blend of hands-on commercial finance responsibility and strategic exposure, making it well-suited to an individual looking to step into a broader, more visible position within a high-growth environment.
This is a commercially focused position with significant exposure to senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in supporting business performance through high-quality analysis, insight, and business partnering, while helping to embed a stronger commercial mindset across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting FP&A and commercial finance activities across the group
- Delivering insightful analysis to drive business performance and decision-making
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to influence and provide constructive challenge
- Coaching and supporting non-finance stakeholders to improve commercial understanding
- Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Operating within a complex, multi-entity structure, gaining exposure to group-level dynamics
About You
We are looking for a high-calibre finance professional with a strong foundation in both technical accounting and commercial finance, who is ready to take on a broader, more impactful role.
Key requirements:
- Ideally ACA qualified, trained within a Big Four firm, ACCA/CIMA will also be reviewed
- Experience across multiple industry roles within FP&A and/or commercial finance
- Strong analytical capability combined with commercial acumen
- Confidence to engage with and constructively challenge stakeholders
- Experience working in complex, multi-entity or international environments
- Ambition to operate in a PE-backed, fast-paced setting
