Eames Consulting are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed Energy Infrastructure specialist to appoint a Senior Management Accountant. You will take full ownership of the reporting suite, ensuring financial performance is visible, accurate, and aligned with growth targets.
Location: South Birmingham
Work Pattern: Hybrid, 3 Days Office
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Reporting: Deliver monthly P&L packs and board-level KPIs, providing insightful variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Asset & ROI Tracking: Monitor asset yields and ROI per category, ensuring maximum capital efficiency across the rental fleet.
- Commercial Analysis: Track margins by revenue stream and contract, while producing monthly performance data across products and customers.
- Financial Control: Manage the end-to-end month-end process, including revenue recognition, HP financing, and cash flow analysis.
- Tax & Compliance: Lead VAT reporting and HMRC compliance, while supporting the annual audit and statutory accounts production.
- Team Oversight: Supervise the transactional functions, overseeing both Accounts Payable and Credit Control.
Skills:
- Qualified/PQ: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (Qualified or Part-Qualified with relevant experience).
- Industry Background: Previous experience in a rental, asset-based, or project-led environment is highly desirable.
- Systems & Data: Highly proficient in Xero and Excel.
Package:
- Base Salary: £50,000-£55,000
