We need a proper Agile Delivery Manager — someone who can lead delivery, get teams moving, and ship real outcomes, not just talk about Agile.
You’ll be driving the first product increments of a new Limit Management solution being built on a cloud-native platform in Microsoft Azure, supporting Treasury and Risk functions. This is a hands-on delivery role. You’ll be in the detail when needed, leading from the front, clearing blockers, and keeping delivery honest.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with Product Owners to build a roadmap that’s clear, prioritised, and value-driven
- Running day-to-day agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban) and keeping momentum high
- Making sure teams are appropriately resourced and set up for success
- Keeping delivery governance tight — including stage gates, reporting, budgets, and controls
- Managing risks, issues, dependencies and making sure nothing gets ignored
- Producing clear progress updates and steering-level reporting (no fluff, just facts)
- Making delivery metrics visible and using them to drive improvement
- Managing stakeholders and keeping sponsors aligned and informed
- Supporting business cases and delivery documentation where required
- Helping teams mature their agile ways of working and contributing to the wider delivery community
What we’re looking for:
- A track record of delivering real outcomes within time / cost / governance constraints
- Delivery experience across agile programmes worth £2m+
- Confident communicating with both technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Strong servant leadership — you can lead without ego
- Experience working with dispersed teams and third parties
- Good understanding of procurement and commercial agreements (including Statements of Work)
- Comfortable owning end-to-end delivery — scoping, planning, tracking, budget, and closure
- Bonus: Greenfield Java delivery on cloud (Azure ideally)
