We're partnering with a leading insurer seeking a nearly or newly qualified actuary to join its Risk & Capital team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on exposure to capital modelling, assumption setting and regulatory reporting while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

About the Role

  • Analyse demographic and economic experience to support key business decisions
  • Help set actuarial assumptions and calibrate capital stresses
  • Contribute to internal model and capital management activities
  • Support regulatory and Solvency UK reporting
  • Get involved in business change initiatives and strategic projects
  • Coach and support more junior actuarial colleagues

About You

  • Nearly qualified, newly qualified, or up to 3 years post‑qualified
  • Experience in Life, GI or Pensions
  • Knowledge of Solvency UK or wider UK insurance regulation
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Curious, proactive and keen to challenge and improve existing approaches
