b Overview /b p In this role you will support quarterly reserving across multiple syndicate classes and contribute to management reporting and regulatory requirements. You will work with experienced actuaries, underwriters and finance stakeholders to understand portfolio performance, refine reserving methodologies, and drive data-driven decisions. This position offers broad exposure to specialty and London Market business and opportunities to learn from senior actuarial leaders. You will be integral to the reserving cycle and cross-functional collaborations that shape risk and capital decisions. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Support the quarterly reserving process across multiple syndicate classes /li li Perform reserve analyses and investigate movements in reserving results /li li Assist with the production of reserving reports for senior management /li li Support Solvency UK, regulatory reporting and audit requirements /li li Work with underwriting teams to understand portfolio performance and emerging experience /li li Contribute to reserving methodology enhancements and process improvement initiatives /li li Support data analysis and reserving model development /li li Collaborate with the wider actuarial team across reserving, capital and pricing activities /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 2-4 years of actuarial experience with exposure to general insurance reserving /li li Desirable Lloyds and/or London Market experience /li li Progressing through actuarial exams /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving skills /li li Ability to communicate technical findings to a range of stakeholders /li li Experience using Excel and actuarial modelling tools /li li Knowledge of SQL, Python or R advantageous /li li Proactive and collaborative approach to work /li /ul ul li Analytical mindset /li li Proactive collaboration /li li Effective stakeholder communication /li li Excel /li li Actuarial modelling tools /li li SQL /li /ul
