The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pricing and profitability analysis across casualty classes
- Supporting the development, enhancement and calibration of pricing models and tools
- Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying opportunities for profitable growth
- Working closely with underwriting teams to provide pricing insight and challenge
- Contributing to rate change analysis, business planning and performance reporting
- Supporting pricing governance, validation and model documentation activities
- Collaborating with actuarial, exposure management and finance teams on cross-functional initiatives
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience within general insurance pricing, ideally with exposure to casualty business
- Strong analytical and modelling capabilities
- Progression towards actuarial qualification, or recent qualification
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with underwriters and senior stakeholders
- Experience working with large datasets and actuarial modelling tools
- A commercial mindset and an interest in understanding the drivers of portfolio performance
