Overview
In this role you will underwrite a broad portfolio of financial institutions risks, including banks, asset managers, private equity firms, insurers and fintechs. You will work closely with brokers and clients and support portfolio management while contributing to the ongoing development of the FI book. The position sits in the London team within a well-established international platform, offering strong technical exposure. You will help shape the FI underwriting capability and deliver sound risk assessment in a dynamic market.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite FI risks for new and renewal business across banks, asset managers, private equity, insurers and fintechs
- Engage with brokers and clients to facilitate risk understanding and positioning
- Support portfolio management and monitoring of the FI book
- Contribute to development and expansion of the FI book and capabilities
Key requirements
- 12 months' FI underwriting experience
- 3–5 years' overall insurance market experience
- Clear communication with brokers/clients
- Relationship management
- Collaborative cross-functional teamwork
