Reference: GM55_1788942378This is an opportunity to take a more autonomous role in reserving analysis across a diverse London Market portfolio, working closely with underwriting, finance and senior actuarial stakeholders.
The role offers broad exposure and the chance to contribute to reserving strategy, regulatory reporting and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Support the quarterly reserving process across multiple lines of business.
Perform reserve analyses and make recommendations for booked reserves.
Present findings and insights to senior stakeholders.
Contribute to regulatory and audit deliverables.
Work closely with underwriting teams to understand portfolio performance and emerging trends.
Assist with reserving methodology development and process improvement initiatives.
Support Solvency UK and financial reporting requirements.
Mentor and support more junior members of the actuarial team where appropriate.
About You Part-qualified or nearly qualified actuary.
Previous reserving experience within Lloyd's and/or the London Market.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience of the quarterly reserving cycle and stakeholder engagement.
Comfortable working with large datasets and actuarial tools.
A proactive individual who enjoys collaborating across the business.
