Overview
In this role you will drive pricing insights and model development for specialty lines, working closely with underwriting, actuarial and data teams. You will deliver rate-change, profitability and portfolio analyses to inform strategic decisions and support governance. You will help develop pricing tools and embed best practices across the business, while contributing to model validation and reviews. You will partner with underwriting, finance and actuarial stakeholders to align pricing with the company’s risk appetite and goals. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to shape pricing strategy across a diverse book of business.
Responsibilities
- Support development and enhancement of pricing models across specialty classes
- Deliver rate change, profitability and portfolio performance analyses
- Provide actuarial input to support underwriting and strategic decisions
- Assist with pricing tool development and embedding best practices
- Contribute to pricing reviews, model validation and governance activities
- Partner with underwriting, finance and actuarial stakeholders
Key requirements
- Significant experience in specialty insurance pricing
- Strong working knowledge of the Hx pricing platform
- Experience building, maintaining or enhancing pricing models
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
