A leading insurer is looking to hire a Risk Manager to support its growing Pension Risk Transfer business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong BPA expertise who is looking to broaden their impact beyond transaction delivery and into risk, governance and strategic decision-making.

This is a business-facing risk role where you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders across the Pension Risk Transfer business
  • Provide risk oversight and challenge across BPA transactions and processes
  • Support the assessment and management of operational and business risks
  • Lead risk reviews, governance activities and change risk assessments
  • Monitor risk indicators and provide insights to senior stakeholders
  • Help shape and strengthen the overall risk and control environment

About You

  • Strong experience within the Bulk Purchase Annuity market
  • Deep understanding of BPA transactions, processes and commercial drivers
  • Experience operating within a regulated financial services environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Analytical, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Risk management experience is beneficial but not essential
