In this role you will drive pricing and profitability analyses across casualty lines, partnering with underwriters and senior stakeholders to influence pricing decisions. You will develop and calibrate pricing models, monitor portfolio performance, and support governance and reporting. The position blends technical modelling with cross-functional collaboration to support strategic pricing in the London Market. Responsibilities

  • Deliver pricing and profitability analysis across casualty classes
  • Develop, enhance and calibrate pricing models and tools
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify profitable growth opportunities
  • Provide pricing insight to underwriting teams and challenge assumptions
  • Contribute to rate change analysis, business planning and performance reporting
  • Support pricing governance, validation and model documentation
  • Collaborate with actuarial, exposure management and finance teams on cross-functional initiatives

Key requirements

  • Experience in general insurance pricing, with exposure to casualty business
  • Strong analytical and modelling capabilities
  • Progression towards actuarial qualification or recently qualified
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with underwriters and senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with large datasets and actuarial modelling tools
