Reference: GM57_1788942580This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced reserving actuary to take ownership of the reserving function across a diverse specialty portfolio. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across underwriting, finance and executive leadership, providing insight that directly influences business decisions and portfolio strategy. The role offers a blend of technical reserving work, stakeholder management and team leadership, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their influence within a growing business. Review reserve analyses, recommend appropriate booking levels and present results to senior management. Provide reserving insights to underwriting teams, identifying trends, emerging risks and areas of opportunity. Support regulatory reporting, audit requirements and Solvency UK deliverables. Partner closely with Finance on financial reporting and business planning activities. Manage and develop more junior actuarial team members. Contribute to wider actuarial and strategic projects across the business. Experience managing projects and, ideally, mentoring or managing junior actuarial team members. Strong understanding of regulatory and financial reporting requirements. Commercial mindset with an ability to translate technical findings into actionable business insight.
