We are partnering with a leading pensions consultancy looking to hire an Associate Risk Transfer Consultant to join its growing risk transfer team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nearly or recently qualified actuary looking to build expertise in the thriving bulk annuity and pension risk transfer market.

This is a client-focused role where you will:

  • Support pension schemes through their journey to buy-in, buy-out and wind-up
  • Manage the delivery of risk transfer and bulk annuity projects
  • Review actuarial calculations and insurer quotations
  • Prepare client reports, presentations and communications
  • Work closely with trustees, sponsoring employers and insurers
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development

About You

  • Nearly or recently qualified actuary
  • Experience in UK pensions and risk transfer or bulk annuity transactions
