We are partnering with a leading pensions consultancy looking to hire an Associate Actuarial Consultant to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work across scheme actuary, risk transfer and endgame projects, helping pension schemes navigate complex strategic decisions.

This is a varied consulting role where you will:

  • Advise trustees and sponsors on de-risking, buy-in and buyout strategies
  • Support pension risk transfer transactions and insurer market engagement
  • Perform actuarial valuations, analysis and assumption setting
  • Coordinate projects across actuarial, investment, administration and legal teams
  • Build client relationships and contribute to presentations and proposals
  • Support schemes through endgame planning and post-transaction activity

About You

  • Part-qualified or qualified actuary
  • UK pensions actuarial experience
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects
