We're partnering with a leading insurer seeking a nearly or newly qualified actuary to join its Risk & Capital team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to capital modelling, assumption setting and regulatory reporting while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
About the Role
- Analyse demographic and economic experience to support key business decisions
- Help set actuarial assumptions and calibrate capital stresses
- Contribute to internal model and capital management activities
- Support regulatory and Solvency UK reporting
- Get involved in business change initiatives and strategic projects
- Coach and support more junior actuarial colleagues
About You
- Nearly qualified, newly qualified, or up to 3 years post-qualified
- Experience in Life, GI or Pensions
- Knowledge of Solvency UK or wider UK insurance regulation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Curious, proactive and keen to challenge and improve existing approaches
