12 Month Fixed Term Contract. Quantity Surveyor available full-time, with expectations to be on site one day per week at Perceval House.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre and post contract Quantity Surveying duties and services across a number of school projects, liaising with project managers, contract administrators, designers, contractors and end-users as necessary.
- Provide support with monthly capital monitoring reports and reviews across all current projects and liaising with finance colleagues as required.
- Act as an ambassador for the Council’s Economy and Sustainability directorate, championing best practice.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent (essential).
- Chartered Member of the RICS or currently progressing towards achieving Chartered status (essential).
- Dynamic, effective communicator, comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Adaptable with a flexible working style, able to pick up and independently lead a wide range of tasks.
- Experienced in quantity surveying practices and skills, and able to apply these consistently.
- Can work under pressure to challenging timetables and manage a varied workload with competing priorities.
