If you’re interested in working in the Early Years/Childcare sector, our Skills Bootcamp will equip you with skills needed for a rewarding career working with children. You will gain essential skills in child development, education and safeguarding and attend employer sessions with a guaranteed interview at the end.

Skills Bootcamps for Londoners are part of the Governments Skills for Life programme, funded by the UK Government and supported by the Mayor of London. Each course is co-designed by employers to help you use the skills you’ve gained to progress in your career. Employability support (including an interview) is built into every Skills Bootcamp.

Eligibility

  • You will need to be aged 19 or older on 31 August 2025
  • Have the right to work in the UK and meet residency requirements
  • Resident in London
  • Interested in pursuing employment in the sector

The course takes place over 3 days per week in-person for 8 weeks, so you should not currently be in full-time education. You will also need a reasonable level of English and Maths (preferably Level 1 or higher).
