The predicted salary is between 31650 - 40000 £ per year.

Salary: Grade 9 Point 28 – 30: £42,201 - £43,821 (inclusive of London Weighting and Ealing Supplement) per annum inclusive. Actual pro-rata salary: £37,493 - £38,933

Hours: 35 hours a week – term time only (39 weeks)

Horsenden Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Swimming Pool and Swim School Manager to lead the operation and development of our on-site swimming pool and successful Seahorse Swim School. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, ambitious primary school and play a key role in delivering high quality swimming provision for our pupils, partner schools and the wider community.

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of swimming pool operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and customer service. They will manage the Seahorse Swim School, oversee swimming staff, coordinate programmes and timetables, develop participation and income opportunities, and ensure a high quality experience for all users of the facility.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of swimming pool or aquatic facility operations.
  • Has experience of leading, supervising or managing staff.
  • Has strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Is committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety and safeguarding.
  • Can build positive relationships with children, families, schools and community users.
  • Can identify opportunities to develop and improve services.
  • Is proactive, solution-focused and able to work independently.

A swimming teacher qualification is essential. Pool Plant Operator and First Aid qualifications are welcomed but training and support will be provided for the successful candidate where required.
