About You: Do you want to develop your teaching skills in an inclusive and welcoming school, with motivated students and a supportive, experienced leadership team? If so, then we are looking for you to join us to further enhance our dynamic teaching team. You will be encouraged to be an open and reflective practitioner and will be supported by an extensive professional development programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
  • Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.
  • Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position.
  • Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils.

What We Can Offer: You will be welcomed into a three‑form entry school with up to 30 children in each class. All classes are of mixed ability. There are two Nursery classes, three Reception classes, six Key Stage One classes and twelve Key Stage Two classes. We encourage school tours and invite you to look at our school website, where you can learn a little more about learning and life at Ravenor. We had a successful Ofsted inspection in March 2023 and continue to be a good school with very high outcomes.
