Responsibilities

You will have a large, varied caseload consisting of strategically significant procurements as well as contracts and governance matters. The role involves working collaboratively with staff and colleagues, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to forge productive working relationships across the Council and with local partners.

Qualifications

Our ideal Contracts Lawyer will be an experienced Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years PQE and proven expertise in contracts and procurement law in a local authority environment. You must have the right to work in the UK. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
