This exciting two-year fixed-term opportunity is for an experienced Data Scientist who wants to use advanced analytics to understand what works, what doesn't, and where improvements can be made.

Working closely with commissioners and contract managers across the council, you will assess whether services are achieving their intended outcomes, reducing inequalities and delivering value for money. You will bring together data from a range of sources to measure impact, predict future demand and identify opportunities to improve outcomes. Where services are not delivering the expected results, you will provide evidence-based recommendations to support service redesign, reinvestment or alternative approaches.

As the technical lead within the team, you will champion innovation, high quality analysis and ethical use of data. Your work will directly influence commissioning decisions and help ensure that services deliver meaningful, measurable benefits for Ealing's residents. If you are passionate about using data to improve lives and drive better outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
