We are looking for a Design Officer to cover maternity leave and make a meaningful impact during your time with us. The position is part of Ealing Council’s high-performing Design team, which delivers and creates high‑quality, high‑impact marketing communications and branding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing and delivering materials for internal and external communications – print, video, animation, branding, events, email and awards.
- Preparing artwork to a high standard for digital and print.
- Creating illustrations and graphics.
- Transforming complex information into accessible, inclusive communications.
Essential qualifications:
- Proven track record of creative design and content production (e.g., magazines, video, audio, digital and web content, newsletters, posters, leaflets and brochures).
- Experience preparing artwork to a high standard for digital and print.
- Ability to produce illustrations and graphics.
- Skill in translating complex information into clear, inclusive messages.
- Command of spoken English sufficient to enable you to perform the role effectively.
