About The School
West Twyford Primary School is a friendly and supportive two-form entry school. We have a strong focus on excellent teaching and learning and believe that all children can learn and achieve high standards; we were recently congratulated by the Secretary of State for our excellent outcomes for disadvantaged pupils. We believe in offering a wide variety of enrichment activities for our pupils. We have an excellent music provision and are a leading music school for Ealing. Emotional health & well-being is promoted throughout the school, and we have a community of happy and positive learners.
Our newly built, state of the art building is well resourced, and we have beautiful and extensive grounds which are rare in an inner London school and these contribute to our positive and calm environment. We run the OPAL creative play program at lunchtimes to ensure that every minute for our children at West Twyford is a learning opportunity.
You will be welcomed into a supportive and high achieving team with a clear and consistent focus on excellent educational practice and outcomes for children and where pupils behave well and have positive attitudes to learning. We understand that a school is only as good as its teachers and you will be supported to grow and improve your practice. We provide cutting edge CPD through our Walkthrus program and as a member of the Ealing Learning Partnership there are opportunities to work with schools across the borough.
About You
Qualified teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply. You will bring and share your experience, skills, and drive to innovate and inspire but also to learn from others. You will have a record of empowering children to attain high standards, a commitment to providing an inclusive environment and enjoy the challenge of supporting children to achieve their very best.
Our school is located in an attractive residential area of Ealing. We have excellent transport links and are close to major roads (we offer onsite car parking), buses and the Central and Piccadilly Lines are both within walking distance. Ealing Broadway is only 10 minutes away and central London is accessible in 30 minutes.
