Job Description
Are you an ambitious and creative social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and young people? Ealing Children’s Social Care is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Assessment and Intervention Team.
The role
As a social worker in our team, you will be at the forefront of our mission to safeguard children and young people. We want to connect children and young people and families to strengthen our community. We want you to share in our vision and help us achieve the following objectives:
- Connect people: Use our work to strengthen community ties. Connect people with each other, build relationships within our communities, and work with community organisations
- Give people power and choice: involve the community in our work and give people power and choice wherever we can
- Work together: collaborate across teams and community organisations with a generous, open, and curious mindset
- Try new things: innovate and explore new ways to better serve our residents.
- Work within our resources: ensure efficient and effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality services.
You will be part of a buddy scheme to work alongside established social workers who will guide you through your initial days in Ealing Children’s Care.
Mentor and coaching schemes are available to support and fulfil your growth and development to the next stage in your career.
We are looking for individuals who:

You will report to a team manager who will ensure you have regular monthly supervisions.
You will be expected to attend the office three days a week with your manager.

Essential Qualification/membership Required
- Professional social work qualification: CQSW, DipSW, CCETSW approved equivalent, social work degree
- Social Work England social worker registration.
