Position Overview

St Mark’s Primary School is a successful two‑form entry community school in the heart of Hanwell.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self‑motivated person to maintain our school site and ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the entire school community.

The role reports to the School Business Manager and supports the school's commitment to safer recruitment, safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.

Contract Details

Grade 6 – 7, permanent, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, 24 days annual leave, 3 Ealing days, 8 bank holidays.

Hours of Work

7.45am – 3.45pm. Shift work may be required, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain school premises and facilities.
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.
  • Assist the School Business Manager with administrative duties.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents and governors to support school operations.

Qualifications

  • Meeting the Person Specification for the role.
  • Enhanced DBS check clearance.
  • Two satisfactory references, one from current employer.
