The Practice Support Co-ordinator is a pivotal role to the smooth running and organisation of the team as the point of contact for enquiries from staff and partner agency professionals. The role provides a proactive, comprehensive, confidential, and robust administrative support service across the practice team to ensure timely and appropriate interventions with children and their families.
As the Practice Support Co-ordinator you will:
- Provide comprehensive support to the social work team including managing requests for interpreter, travel and accommodation bookings and financial payments
- Organise, attend and minute meetings
- Maintain systems and processes that enable the smooth running of the practice team
- Deal with enquiries some of which may be complex and/or contentious, from members of the public, staff and partner agencies in addition to sharing of information and effective partnership working
- Support the Performance Management Team with the verification, collation, and submission of Statutory Reports through proficient use of MS Office, CRM, and IT systems
- Compile and maintain spreadsheets and work closely with practitioners to ensure accurate information for reporting and support the Data Analyst and Business Manager with the collation/production of reports
Our ideal Practice Support Co-ordinator will have the below skills and experience:
- Administrative and/or business support experience
- Experience in organising meetings and taking accurate and detailed minutes
- Strong time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills when dealing with enquiries from members of the public, staff, and other agencies in line with the Council’s Customer Care procedures and within an Equality and Diversity framework
- Experience and knowledge of financial systems and transactions including raising purchase orders, processing invoices for goods/services and financial year end tasks
- Experience of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience of analysing and evaluating performance information and presenting reports on key indicators
- Intermediate Word and Excel – qualification or equivalent experience
