This is an exciting opportunity to help transform SEND services through data and intelligence. You will work closely with senior leaders and partners to improve outcomes for children and young people across Ealing.

Ealing Council has an exciting new opportunity as a Performance and Data Analyst (SEND) available on a full-time basis. The post holder will deliver high-quality insight, ensure statutory reporting is accurate and timely (including SEN2), and support SEND reforms and improved decision-making for residents. Responsibilities

  • Lead statutory returns (including SEN2) ensuring compliance and deadlines are met
  • Develop and enhance data systems and reporting frameworks
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and inform planning
  • Produce high-quality dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI)
  • Provide expert advice on data interpretation and performance
  • Support forecasting including specialist school place planning
  • Collaborate with services, ICT and partners to improve data systems
  • Ensure strong data quality, validation and GDPR compliance

Qualifications and Experience

  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL and Power BI
  • Strong analytical and forecasting capability
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience in SEND, education or public sector
