Ealing is committed to providing an excellent highways service. A Permit Inspector position has become available for a dynamic and enthusiastic professional keen to join our team.

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering the Network Management Duty under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and to ensure that it is implemented and adhered to by both internal and external parties. You will assist in the regulation of all activities by utility companies and others opening or temporarily closing the highway in Ealing to ensure compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and Highways Act 1980.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to build effective working relationships with people at all levels. You will also need experience of working in a Highways or Streetworks environment.
