Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as a Lifts Project Manager available on a full-time basis. The role of Lifts Project Manager Specialist is to lead and oversee multiple projects and contract management to ensure building safety remediation and retrofit sustainability projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget, while ensuring 100% compliance with statutory obligations and regulatory undertakings.
Responsibilities- Lead project planning, procurement, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial forecasts and budgets are accurate and timely
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and policies, including conducting regular site inspections and progress reports
- Resolve technical issues, liaise with design and engineering teams, and act as the technical lead where appropriate to deliver projects
- Proven experience in a similar role managing Capital Projects and/or remedials on Lifts
- In-depth understanding of Building Regulations, planning requirements, property compliance, health and safety, and housing law (including the Building Safety Act 2022)
- Experience in working collaboratively and effectively within a matrix structure to ensure effective team performance and successful project delivery
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on continuous improvement and value for money
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in ICT
- Proven ability to set, monitor, and review performance standards and key performance indicators
- Knowledge and experience of CDM Planning, Principal Designer, and client duties
- Understanding of contracts, tender agreements, and procurement processes, and working with utilities providers, including understanding their drawings and service details
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, dedicated to fostering an inclusive work environment and achieving excellent outcomes for all residents
- Relevant industry qualifications in construction management, such as HNC, HND, or a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
