Permanent position 31 hours and 15 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 8:40 am – 3:25 pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break. 39 weeks, term‑time only (including 5 training days). Required: 1 September 2026.
About the role
The Learning Support Assistant will work with identified children delivering learning interventions and learning support, and will also offer pastoral support and personal care as required.
About You
- Excellent understanding of how children learn and experience working with children with additional needs.
- Ability to differentiate the curriculum for children with special educational needs and pupils with limited English.
- Good English, mathematics and ICT skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Shows initiative and is a self‑starter.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Can forge positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
- Well‑organised, enthusiastic and motivated.
