Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as Delivery Manager available on a full time basis. To help us achieve this, we have created a new Innovation and Service Development team within Children’s Services, and are looking to recruit two Delivery Managers to drive change across our directorate.
Responsibilities
- Mobilise and deliver change, with a focus on service improvement, efficiencies and demand management, service design and innovation.
- Manage key transformation projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring effective governance, quality assurance, and risk management.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the council - including senior officers and elected members - collaborating to find solutions to Children’s Service’s challenges.
- Apply your problem‑solving skills to tackle strategic priorities within a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
Our ideal Delivery Manager will have the below skills and experience:
- Experience of successfully managing change projects, ideally within local government or a similar sector.
- Sound knowledge of programme and/project management methodology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good understanding of the variety of local government services delivered to children and young people and the current issues and challenges regarding reform and transformation in this area.
You must have the right to work in the UK. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
