The Finance Manager is responsible for Eakin Healthcare's Treasury and Tax Policy and operations, and for leading Enterprise Risk Management within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Treasury
- Own the Group Treasury policy within the finance team.
- Manage the Group’s treasury function in accordance with Treasury Policy.
- Direct day‑to‑day banking relationships and oversee the group’s cash flow to meet objectives.
- Coordinate and manage the Group’s currency policies in line with Treasury Policy.
- Manage deposit accounts within the Group as per Treasury Policy.
- Enterprise Risk Management
- Lead the Enterprise Risk Management process in Eakin.
- Manage the risk process for the group, partnering with risk owners, integrating acquisitions, implementing an operational risk register and updating it regularly.
- Taxation
- Formulate and implement the group taxation strategy, including transfer pricing.
- Coordinate with finance managers, tax auditors and consultants (UK and International) on annual corporation tax computations and deferred tax schedules for the holding company and all subsidiaries.
- Ensure all corporation tax and other tax returns (UK, Japan, Netherlands and other jurisdictions) are prepared and filed on time.
- Direct the Group’s Patent Box and R&D Tax Credit regimes, maintaining audit‑ready records.

- Member of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, or Scotland, or a comparable institute.
- Post‑qualification experience as a financial accountant in a manufacturing environment, or an acceptable equivalent.
- Professional experience preparing or reviewing tax computations, tax returns and knowledge of deferred taxation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in computer‑based presentation software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Proven track record delivering accurate financial information on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year‑end basis in a busy environment.
- Ability to persuade and influence others.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel within the United Kingdom and abroad.
