ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a part-time (20 hours per week) role reporting to the Production Supervisor. The successful person will work within a small team ensuring all areas of our production facility meet high standards of hygiene. The majority of the cleaning duties will be in the production facility and in a clean room environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring production floor, warehouse areas, canteens and toilets are maintained to the required hygiene standards.
- Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed within the set timeframes.
- Following a regular cleaning schedule and completing relevant checklists.
- Operation of an industrial floor cleaner.
- Handling cleaning products in accordance with the safety data sheets.
- Wearing PPE in the required areas.
- Segregation of waste for recycling when appropriate.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene rules.
- Any other duties as required.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Previous cleaning experience in an industrial environment would be preferred.
- Previous training related to COSHH or health and hygiene would be beneficial.
- Ability to work well in a team and take pride in their work.
Desirable
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in carrying out quality checks.
